In addition to a moderated conversation with Audrey Geisel University Librarian Erik Mitchell, Perez will read from some of his published works of poetry. A reception will follow the discussion. The event will highlight Perez’s newest work I ask about what falls away to be released in 2024, as well as his time as San Diego’s Poet Laureate and previous works.
