We are proud to continue the tradition of celebrating the circle of life together, as done each summer in Japan for generations, and welcome everyone to join our celebration!

For two days, you will be able enjoy a variety of merchants, engage in family friendly activities, treat yourselves to Japanese festival foods, a beer garden, a tea & dessert garden, and experience cultural performances throughout each day!

10:00 AM Latin American Festival Three days of folk art, food, and entertainment at the annual Latin American Festival and Mata Ortiz Pottery Market. The colorful marketplace will feature hand-painted Mata Ortiz pottery, artisan jewelry, Mexican clothing and textiles, and other collectibles. Artists from Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, and other Latin American countries will showcase one of the most extensive collections of genuine Latin American folk art this side of the border.

The festival also exhibits San Diego's largest collection of authentic Mata Ortiz pottery, a centuries-old art form renowned for its intricate process and hand-painted geometric and ancestral symbols. Visitors can enjoy wood carving, textile weaving, and intricate painting demonstrations from visiting artists highlighting their crafts. Mexican cuisine from neighboring Casa Guadalajara restaurant will be for sale. Latin American folk band Tinku performs.

12:00 PM Pride of Polynesia's Annual Luau Enjoy a Polynesian style luncheon at noon and at 12:30 PM. Pride of Polynesia dance troupe will take us on a journey presenting dances from the islands of the Pacific. This group is the dance group that provides the entertainment at the Catamaran Hotel's Luaus in the summer. Wear your muumuus and Hawaiian shirts.

Loosely based on Greek mythological themes, it's a witty, exciting comedy focusing on the traps of power, love, and attraction. Stage directed by David Radamés Toro and conducted by Nicholas Kraemer.
