5:00 PM Talk: We Gon' Be Alright: Race & Resegregation The UC San Diego Institute of Arts and Humanities (IAH) invites you to attend a special talk as part of the Challenging Conversations event series. Police violence, mass incarceration, and issues of race and representation in Hollywood plague us. And resegregation is quietly pushing us back. After so much unrest and tragedy - how can our communities heal? What can we expect for race relations in a changing, polarized America? To Chang, not all is lost.
7:30 PM Music: Gamelan and Mariachi Ensembles This concert features the Gamelan Ensemble, performing music of Bali, Indonesia and the Mariachi Ensemble. David Harnish and Tyler Yamin direct the Gamelan Ensemble, and Serafin Paredes directs the Mariachi Ensemble. Both presentations may include dance.

8:00 PM Stage: Spring Awakening Set in late 19th-century Germany, this musical tells the story of teenagers discovering the inner and outer tumult of teenage sexuality and the journey from adolescence to adulthood. Alternative rock is employed as part of the folk-infused rock score.
